Dr. Jeff Walker brings over 30 years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist and Pastoral Counselor to the Dream Again Alliance Board. Holding doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology and Theology, he specializes in trauma recovery, emotional intelligence, and helping individuals overcome life-controlling issues—making his expertise invaluable to our mission of serving youth in foster care.

With a deep understanding of the long-term effects of childhood adversity, Dr. Walker ensures our programs are trauma-informed and focused on emotional healing. His decades of leadership in both clinical practice and pastoral ministry guide our efforts to provide compassionate, life-changing support to vulnerable youth.

Bishop, Pastor, Certified Life Coach, Pastoral Counselor, and Chaplain, LaTerra Ruffin brings years of experience in mentorship, emotional healing, and leadership development to Dream Again Alliance. She holds a Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University and serves as the Founding Pastor of Life Empowerment Church in Moreno Valley, CA, as well as the founding Bishop of Kingdom Covenant Ministries, Intl.

LaTerra has dedicated her life to equipping others for purpose-driven living, with a special focus on helping youth and families navigate trauma, transition, and identity. Her work in both spiritual and educational spaces has made her a trusted voice in community leadership and transformation. Passionate about helping others overcome adversity and embrace their full potential, LaTerra plays a key role in guiding our mission to help youth reclaim hope and restore their dreams.

Founder and Executive Officer

Rebekah King is the founder and visionary behind Dream Again Alliance, a nonprofit organization committed to helping girls in foster care reclaim hope and restore their dreams. With a deep passion for supporting youth impacted by trauma, Rebekah brings both personal experience and professional dedication to the mission.

As a former foster parent and now an adoptive mom, Rebekah has seen firsthand the gaps in support, mentorship, and life skills that so many girls in the foster care system face. Her heart for service has also led her to spend years working with the homeless community and speaking weekly to women in local jails — always creating safe spaces where people are seen, heard, and reminded of their worth.

The roots of Dream Again Alliance were planted when Rebekah began leading small groups for young women, where she developed the original THRIVE curriculum — now the foundation of the organization's mentorship and life skills programs. Her work is grounded in a belief that no one is too far gone, and that healing and purpose are possible for every girl, no matter her past.​

Amy Thompson is a foster and adoptive mom, single parent to seven children, real estate professional, and dedicated advocate for children and families. She has fostered 13 children and adopted three, alongside raising her four biological children. Her journey led her to become a home study writer, helping families prepare to welcome children into their homes.

As a full-time realtor and investor, Amy loves helping families find their forever homes and brings that same care to her role with Dream Again Alliance. Her passion is to help build strong families through compassion, grace, and purpose, and to support youth as they reclaim hope and restore their dreams.
